“I have known Lizbeth Reszel for several years when her two sons were my music students at Mill Creek Elementary School in Geneva, IL. Lizbeth would often accompany student performances where we had several opportunities to chat. During this time, we would discuss our philosophy of how to best provide vocal coaching to elementary age children. We shared a common viewpoint of how to best meet the needs of students struggling to match vocal pitch and how to foster healthy singing. Over the years I have referred several students to Lizbeth for voice lessons. Lizbeth ensures that the music repertoire is appropriate for the child’s age and ability. She works with students on proper vocal technique and controlled diaphragm breathing in order to find their “head voice”. She also provides students with a performance opportunity with vocal recitals.
